My Work Linking Cities and Protected Areas of the World

Recognizing that many cities of the world rely heavily on the fresh water, recreation, and resources provided to them from mountains (both near and distant), I also work with international organizations that foster collaborations between stakeholders and residents of cities and protected areas such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature / World Commission on Protected Areas: Task Force for Cities and Protected Areas

The goal is to make city-dwellers around the world realize the powerful role they can play to preserve and protect parks and mountain resources that benefit them directly and indirectly.
